Report
Established in 1973 by the United States Geological Survey's National
Earthquake Engineering Center in Golden, Colorado. This site is a 24 hour
service to determine the location and magnitude of significant earthquakes
in the United States and around the world as rapidly and accurately as
possible. The "Quick Epicenter Determinations" (QED), a very
preliminary list of earthquakes, is computed daily.

QUAKELINE ® is a bibliographic database produced by the Multidisciplinary
Center for Earthquake Engineering. It covers earthquakes, earthquake engineering,
natural hazard mitigation, and related topics. It includes records for
various publication types, such as journal articles, conference papers,
technical reports, maps, and videotapes. QUAKELINE ® was launched
in May 1987. The database currently provides access to 33,000 records.
