• The Chronicle of Higher Education
  Review breaking news as it happens in the daily issue of the online version of the Chronicle of Higher Education. If you wish, you can click on the second link and go directly to New Grant and Research Competitions. In addition if you have an appropriate id and password (call one of the 203 librarians at 2-4224) you can access the latest issue of the weekly Chronicle of Higher Education, browse through back issues, or conduct a search for specific articles using a search engine.
• The National Science Foundation Custom News Service
  An e-mail-based or web-based alert service that lets subscribers know about funding opportunities as soon as they become available. Sign up on the MyNSF page.
• The National Science Foundation E-Bulletin
  A web publication that provides up-to-date information on deadlines and target dates for NSF programs. The E-Bulletin replaces the NSF Bulletin, a printed publication. (The last edition of the NSF Bulletin was September 1998.)
• Science's Next Wave Although not a funding newsletter as such, this source provides a regular column called the Grants Doctor and a link to GrantsNet Funding News and Articles.

• The Foundation Center
  Maintains a comprehensive and up-to-date database for foundations and corporate giving programs. Under Grantmaker Resources you will find a variety of information including Funding Trends. A link on this website, Foundation Finder, gives you access to a free look-up service based on the Center's publishing database which is supposedly updated at least once a month. This site presents information on over 50,000 private and community foundations in the United States, including direct links to foundation Web sites. While this section is free, other sections may need a subscription.

• Electronic Agency Forms
  Forms from various agencies like DOE, NIH etc. in both Mac or PC format. Be aware of the disclaimer: This web site is intended to provide public service. There is absolutely no guarantee that a particular form will be accepted by an agency. The printout of each form may be different using different computer, software and printer combinations. Some of the agencies are more particular about the forms. Therefore it is your own responsibility to make sure that a form will be accepted by the agency.

• Community of Science - Funding Opportunities
  A collaborative network of scientists and their institutions, this site is a comprehensive source of grant information available on the Web. Some areas need a subscription. From the Community of Science, you can also go to Federally funded research. This section includes funding information from the following: NIH, NSF, USDA , SBIR, and MRC (The Medical Research Council, UK).
• Grants.gov
  "Grants.gov FIND is modeled after FedBizOpps, an Internet site established by the General Services Administration, as the single site for posting notices and other relevant information regarding procurement opportunities. As implemented, Grants.gov FIND will serve as the primary site where Federal agencies will post electronic synopses of opportunities for financial assistance awards."
• The Grantsmantship Center (TGCI)
  This site gives the most current Grant Information available in the Federal Register.
• NSF Funding Opportunities & Awards
  The NSF funds research and education in science and engineering, through grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements. The Foundation accounts for about 20 percent of federal support to academic institutions for basic research.
• ResearchLite
