  • NU Transportation Library
Find books, reports & articles. Includes link to NU's The TRAN File (Transportation Article File) -- a Special Resource for Transportation and Law Enforcement Research. The TRAN file contains bibliographic and location information for magazine articles, papers from conferences, and other material on transportation and law enforcement topics.
  • TranStats: The Intermodal Transportation Database
Provided by the US Bureau of Transportation Statistics, this site serves researchers and analysts. It provides "one stop shopping" for transportation data, allows users to search over 100 databases, download data, complete online statistics, and view online maps pertaining to data.
  • TRB's Research In Progress (RIP)
The RiP Web site contains the RiP Database (over 6,600 new and recently completed project statements). The purpose of RiP Web site is to facilitate the exchange of information on current transportation research projects. Most of the RiP records are projects funded by Federal and State Departments of Transportation. University transportation research is also included. In 1998, the Transportation Association of Canada began supplying records from its Canadian Surface Transportation Research Database for RIP.
  • T-REX: Transportation Resource Exchange Center
A comprehensive website where you will find the answers to complex questions surrounding radioactive materials transportation.
  • USCAR
"USCAR is the umbrella organization of DaimlerChrysler, Ford and General Motors, which was formed in 1992 to further strengthen the technology base of the domestic auto industry through cooperative research." The FreedomCAR and Fuel Partnership promotes an Industry/Government initiative focused on research to develop the component technologies necessary to provide a full range of affordable cars and light trucks, and the fuel infrastructure to support them."
