How do I search all manuals in the system?

To search all manuals in the system, use Search. In Step 1, be sure to select the option to search all manuals. Enter your search criteria, then select the Search button.

Can I search only a few manuals, instead of all manuals?

To search a subset of the manuals, use Advanced Search. Using Advanced Search is a 5-step process, as shown below. Detailed help on using Advanced Search is also available.

1. Select the manuals you want to search.
2. Enter your search criteria.
3. Restrict your search by revision date (optional).
4. Select the ordering criteria (optional).
5. Start the search.

How do I find out about recent revisions? Where is the "What's New" page?

The "What's New" page has been replaced by the "Latest Revisions" option.

1. At the system level, you can use the Latest Revisions option on the left-hand menu. Select whether you want to use all manuals or only a specific manual. Select your time period from the drop list. Finally, select the Find Revisions button. If you are searching all manuals, the system will return a list of manuals that contain sections revised in the specified time frame. Select the title of a manual to retrieve a list of revised sections, including a brief summary of the changes (if available).
2. When using a specific manual, select the Latest Revisions option on the left-hand menu. Selecting this option will return a list of all sections in the manual in reverse chronological order, by revision date, along with a brief summary of the changes (if available). The most recently revised sections will be at the top of the list.

How do I contact the owner of a manual?

If you have a question or comment about a specific manual, please send an e-mail to the owner of the manual. To open a comment form for a specific manual, select the title of the manual from the list below and then select the Open Form button.

I'm having technical problems using ANL Policies & Procedures. To whom should I report my problem?

If you are receiving error messages while using ANL Policies & Procedures, or if the server does not appear to be responding, please use the Report a Problem form. Please include the following:

• Description of the problem,
• Any error messages you received, and
• Approximate date and time of the problem.

In the event that you are unable to use the Report a Problem form, you can send e-mail directly to ipdwebmaster@anl.gov.
